Multi-site and inter-site transfers
A site is a physical location — a winery, cellar, vineyard or estate. Every wine, batch, block, vessel and work order belongs to one site. Every account has a single default site; running several sites with a combined roll-up is a Winery-plan feature (€129/mo).
Managing sites
- Open the Manage menu in the top navigation and choose Sites (
/settings/sites). - The Across all sites panel shows account totals; below it, each site has its own card with per-site counts (wines, active batches, blocks, vessels, open work orders).
- Press + Add a site, fill in Name, Type (Winery, Cellar, Vineyard or Estate), Region and Address, then press Create site.
- Use Edit, Make default or Delete on any site card. A site with records must have them transferred elsewhere before it can be deleted.
The active site
Once you have more than one site, a site selector appears in the header. It sets your active site — the one new records are added to. Open it, and under New records added to pick the site you're working at; the Manage sites → link at the bottom takes you back to the settings page. Choose your cellar before logging a racking, your vineyard before logging a spray, and so on.
Per-member site access
You can restrict team members to specific sites:
- Open the Manage menu and choose Team & activity.
- Click a member's row to open their Access editor.
- With more than one site, it shows a list of your sites — tick the ones the member may see and work in, or leave them all unticked to allow all sites — then press Save site access. (The separate Save access button in that modal saves feature-level access, not site scoping.)
Inter-site transfers
Moving a wine, vessel or batch between locations is a two-step handover, so both ends are recorded:
- On the Sites page (Manage → Sites; visible once you have at least two sites), find the Transfers panel and press + New transfer.
- Select the Item, the Destination site, and optionally a Quantity, Unit and Notes (e.g. "tanker pickup Tuesday").
- Press Start transfer. The item is now marked In transit.
- When it arrives, press Receive — the item's site flips to the destination. Press Cancel instead to abandon the move.
Completed and cancelled transfers stay in the History list, giving you a record of what moved where. Transfers can be created and received by the account owner or an ADMIN.
If you're not on the Winery plan
You still have your one default site, and everything is filed under it automatically — there's nothing to configure. The Sites page shows an upgrade banner if you want to add more locations.
