New EU wine labelling rules 2026–2027: what changes under Regulation (EU) 2026/471

Regulation (EU) 2026/471, adopted 24 February 2026, overhauls EU labelling for de-alcoholised wine: "alcohol-free" (≤0.5% vol), "0,0 %" (≤0.05% vol), "reduced alcohol" and "produced by de-alcoholisation", and adds an exemption for wine produced exclusively for export. These labelling rules apply from 19 September 2027 (Art 6).
